What isthe YU10?
The Yamaha YU10 is a pre-loved 121 cm upright piano, built in Japan from 2001 to 2006 and imported to Melbourne by Signature Pianos. Yamaha made it at Kakegawa for the Japanese market. Its hammers have underfelt beneath the outer felt, a tone escape lets sound out of the case, and the fallboard lowers slowly over the keys. It measures 121 cm tall, 152 cm wide and 61 cm deep, with soft, muffler and damper pedals.
