What isthe U3M?
The Yamaha U3M is a pre-loved 131 cm upright piano, built in Japan from 1980 to 1982 and imported to Melbourne by Signature Pianos. It followed the U3H, and Yamaha gave this generation its own dedicated hammers. The taller case allows longer bass strings than a 121 cm model. It measures 131 cm tall, 154 cm wide and 65 cm deep, with soft, muffler and damper pedals.
