What isthe YU11?
The Yamaha YU11 is a pre-loved 121 cm upright piano, built in Japan since 2006 and imported to Melbourne by Signature Pianos. Yamaha Japan describes it as the 121 cm model of the long-established U series, and makes it at Kakegawa. Its hammers have underfelt beneath the outer felt, and the fallboard lowers slowly over the keys. It measures 121 cm tall, 153 cm wide and 61 cm deep, with soft, muffler and damper pedals.
